Fossil Ridge HS DT Aaron Curry (Keller, TX) currently has offers from coast to coast and everywhere in between. One of which happens to be from Boise State. The talented DT also named the Broncos as one of five favorites about a month ago.

"Missouri, Baylor, Boise (State), Ole Miss, and Purdue are my top five," he said. "I have visited all of them except Boise and Purdue, so I'm hoping to visit them soon as well."

"I have always liked Boise," he stated. "They're always a good school and I plan on making a visit up there soon too. I like the blue turf a lot, the uniforms, really everything about them. I'm hoping to commit before school starts, so I'd like to get up there soon and check it out."

"It's cool that they (BSU) have a bunch of Texas boys up there," said Curry. "I like that part a lot."

Curry says he's looking for a family atmosphere and good academics. Those are the two main factors in his decision making process.

"I want to get along with the coaches and my teammates. That's really important," he said. "I'd like for the campus to be nice, but that's not too important. Overall, the academics will be very important since I'd like to major in Sports Management and I want to go to a school that has my major."

The Fossil Ridge Panthers finished the 2007 season with a 10-2 record, but it has been downhill from there. The Panthers have won a total of six games over the past three seasons and Curry has yet to be a part of a team that has tasted success. He hopes to change that this year.

"We play in a tough conference," he said. "I just try to go out there and be a leader. We have some young guys on the line and I feel it's my duty to motivate them, to pump them up. My goals for this season are to build my endurance up so I won't have to come out of the game as often and to just lead this team the best I can. We're getting better and we will be better this year."

What does Curry (6'3, 275) bring to the gridiron?

"Well, I'm a good pass rusher and I'm quick off the ball," he said. "I use my hands really well and I've got a good motor too," he added.

As a junior, he had 78 tackles and 4 sacks.

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Aaron Curry.
