Perris (Calif.) Citrus Hill running back Davien Payne commits to play in the Pac-12...

Perris (Calif.) Citrus Hill running back Davien Payne has committed to Colorado, his coach Eric Zomalt told the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

Payne boasted a number of offers, including from Arizona State, Boise State, UCLA, Washington and Washington State.

The three-star back is the #3-ranked running back in the Golden State in the 2012 class.

Payne ran for nearly 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior at Citrus Hill in 2010.

Brandon is in his seventh year with, currently as the National Recruiting Analyst and West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout Network since 2003.
