Chaparral HS DE Dylan Cozens (Scottsdale, AZ) was a "sleeper" prospect for much of the fall, but that all changed when Boise State extended an offer to the talented D-lineman in November. He has picked up offers from Missouri, Washington, Utah, and Indiana since that time, but says all schools are even at this point.

"I'd say they're all even right now," he said. "I like different things about all of them," he added.

"I went up to Boise State for the New Mexico game," he stated. "Honestly, I liked pretty much everything about it. I liked the coaches, the blue turf, the city, and just everything."

"I'd say Boise State is recruiting me the hardest right now," said Cozens. "I'm liking it too."

Cozens took an official visit to Missouri over the weekend and will head to Seattle this weekend to checkout Washington.

"It was fun," he said in regards to the Missouri visit. "I got to meet a lot of the players, watch practice, go to a basketball game, and I like the facilities too."

"I'm going to Washington this weekend."

Cozens says the thing that appeals to him most is simply the feeling of being wanted.

"I like when a successful program makes me feel like they want me," said Cozens. "That makes you feel special...makes you feel wanted. It's about the feeling that you get at a certain place too."

Dylan hadn't played football since his Pop Warner days over a decade ago, but that didn't stop him from dominating on the gridiron and earning All-State honors.

"It came naturally to me," he said. "To be honest, I couldn't ask for more my senior year. To go 14-1 and make All-State is just great. I had like 8-10 sacks this year. It was a great year for me."

"I started from game one," he said. "That first game against Bishop Gorman was a little tough. That made me want to get bigger and stronger."

What does Dylan Cozens (6'6, 245) bring to the gridiron?

"I rush the passer," he said. "That's what I do best," he added.
