Osemele struggled Monday trying to play tackle, but he appeared to be at least a little more comfortable with the transition outside. It also helped that he was used some at guard as well Tuesday. Ultimately, he appears to have the size of a tackle but not quick enough feet and may have to return to guard at the pro level, too.

Ingram was much more physical Tuesday and really shined during the scrimmage portions of practice. He delivered a couple of de-cleaters and showed quality hustle in pursuit. It was a good day for him.

After an atrocious first day Monday in which Moore struggled with arm strength and accuracy, the record-setting Broncos quarterback was back with a vengeance Tuesday. Moore was much sharper with his tosses and made a perfect "bucket throw" on a deep ball to Iowa's Marvin McNutt. Moore lacks the elite arm strength to make him stand out
on the next level, but his anticipation and accuracy should keep him in the league for a while.

Not that he necessarily struggled Monday, as Coples is arguably the best prospect on display in Mobile, but he really put on a show Tuesday and provided evidence as to why he has a chance to be the first senior selected in the draft. While it's not unusual for the defensive line to be ahead of the offesive line in an all-star setting, as there is less to learn in terms of scheme, but Coples simply couldn't be blocked on Day 2. A monster of a young man at 6-6 and 281 pounds, he's still lightning quick off the edge and can beat a blocker with both speed and strength.

Pead was not a name that we came away from Monday's practice talking about. But as the North squad running backs started one-on-ones Tuesday, Pead's blocking stole the spotlight and didn't give it back. Pead was the only back on the North roster that consistently beat and successfully blocked his man. He's a player that the Scout.com team is looking forward to seeing more of all over the field.

Running into Robinson is about like trying to break through a brick wall. At least that's what it sounded like from the sideline Tuesday, as I finally saw hits from the 6-3, 240-pound linebacker that I'd expected this week. "He's a beast," said Mississippi State running back Vick Ballard after practice, who also had an impressive Day 2 but admitted Robinson gave him the most trouble.
