Oaks Christian HS LB Cameron Judge (Westlake Village, CA) has currently reeled in over a dozen offers and Boise State became the latest school just last week to put an offer on the table. The talented LB has a busy summer ahead as he plans on visiting a number of schools over the next couple months. Will he make a stop in Boise to visit The Blue?

"Boise State offered last week," he said. "They were at practice one day and I got a call the next day from Coach Gregory and he offered."

"I was pretty excited," he said. "They've been really successful over the past few years," he added.

"They definitely win a lot," he said in regards to Boise State. "That's probably what I like most about them. They have won a lot of games, BCS Bowls, and I plan on checking out the school soon."

In addition to Boise State, Judge (6'2, 215) plans on visiting a few other schools over the summer.

"I'm going to visit UCLA, Arizona, Boise State, Colorado, and Arizona State," said Judge. "I plan on narrowing it down to a top eight or a top five in June. Academics will be big, how much they win, and I'm going to have to take some visits to get an overall feel for the atmosphere at each school."

"A comfortable feel amongst the players and coaches is what I'm looking for," he stated. "The overall environment for the school will be big. I want to be somewhere that I'm comfortable."

Oaks Christian has become a Southern California powerhouse over the past decade and usually produces at least a handful of D-1 athletes each year. Judge and his teammates came up just short in their quest for a CIF Title last year, but he feels this year's team has championship potential.

"We return a lot of talent," he said. "Overall, I'm pretty happy with the team. Our offense should be really good and the defense has looked solid. We should have a good team this year."

"CIF is definitely the ultimate goal. I think winning state would be an added bonus."

Conference realignment has changed the landscape of college football over the past few years, but the HS level has felt a similar change as well. Oaks Christian will be playing in a new division this year and it will be the third division change for the program in five years.

"Yeah, we're definitely going up against much better talent," said Judge. "It has been a big step up in competition. This year we'll be playing some more new teams so we need to be ready for that. We know we're going to hear about it if we lose."

So, what does Cameron Judge bring to the gridiron?

"Athleticism and physicality," he said. "That's what I hear from coaches," he added.
