Washington TE Chooses Blue

Posted Jun 20, 2013

If Drew Sample, (6'5 225lbs) came down to the Boise State football camp last weekend hoping to impress, then "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED". Sample didn't even make it out of Boise before he got an offer, and after just a couple of days of thinking about his options.. he pulled the trigger today, declaring his allegiance via Twitter, "Officially committed to play football for Boise St. #BleedBlue"

Drew Sample was underutilized last year, playing TE on a run first, second, and third down HS team, but after an impressive round of summer camps he came into Boise boasting double digit Football Scholarship offers, but all it took was a weekend on the Blue with the Boise State coaches to convince him Boise State was where he wanted to spend the next 4-5 seasons.

We'll have more on the newest Bronco shortly. Check back for an indepth interview and analysis of what this means to the 2014 Bronco recruiting class.
