David Moa Commits To Boise State

Kearney High School's (San Diego, CA) David Moa committed to Boise State last night, announcing his decision on Social Media, as has become the trend...

David Moa, a 6'4 260lb Defensive Lineman committed to Boise State on Thursday, announcing his decision via his Facebook page.

"It just happened! All this hard work, dedication, and support has paid off! Committed to Boise State University."

Moa had been on the Boise State recruiting radar clear back during his Sophomore season and had long held the Broncos in his Top-3 along with teams like Oregon and Cal. Moa recently visited Boise State on an official visit, and had other offers and potential visits in the wings, but after visiting just Oregon (in October) and then Boise State he was ready to pull the trigger, waiting about a week after returning from the Blue before jumping on the offer to become a Bronco.

Moa is a young Senior, having just turned 17, and he has the frame and Family Genetics to put on size, (His brother Ben Moa, plays on the DLine for San Diego State), so it is possible that David Moa will use a redshirt season to physically mature another year and put on more size, and then move inside as a DT for the Broncos.

Moa may have been known to the Broncos, but he burst onto the recruiting scene in a big way over the summer by dominating at the USC Camp.. (video).

Moa puts the Broncos back up to 12 commits on the year. Be sure to check back on BroncoCountry for more updates on David Moa, and the latest Boise State recruiting news.
