Jensen Beach HS QB Alex Ogle (Jensen Beach, FL) verbally committed to Boise State a little over a week ago and made it official on Wednesday as he signed with the Broncos. The talented QB says he's ready to work hard, earn the starting position, and bring more wins to The Blue.

"It's a dream come true," he said. "You dream about playing college football as a little kid, but to play at Boise State is going to be amazing," he added.

"Coach Sanford came down to watch me throw last Wednesday," he stated. "He told Coach Harsin that I'm the guy and he put me on the phone with him. That's when he offered."

"Coach Harsin asked if I would like to become a Bronco," said Ogle. "I told him it would be a dream come true. I committed right there to Boise State."

Needless to say, Ogle became quite popular on twitter following his commitment to the Broncos.

"I went from 200 followers to over 1,000 after I committed," he said. "I had people walking up to me and welcoming me to Bronco Country on my official visit. I thought that was really cool."

"Boise is the ideal place that I would want to live," said Ogle. "I want to live somewhere that has all four seasons. I like cold winters, but hot summers as well. The town was beautiful and the mountains are just thirty minutes away. I liked that.":

And Signing Day?

"It was great," he said. "I went in there with a blue buttoned-down shirt and an orange tie. I faxed in my letter at 7 am."

"It's a dream come true," said Ogle. "I'm ready to go to Boise and earn that starting position. I'm going to prove myself."

So, what does Alex Ogle (6'3, 205) bring to the gridiron?

"The coaches like that I'm easy to coach," he said. "I also work my tail off and have good accuracy," he added.

As a senior, he had 2,300 yards passing and 22 TDs.

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Alex Ogle.
