Injury doesn't slow powerful prospect

For Matthew Masifilo, the 2006 season couldn't have shaped up into a bigger nightmare at the onset, but he didn't let an injury slow his hopes for playing on Saturday afternoons.

"I dislocated my right elbow in the third game and that took me out of the season," Masifilo said. It could be a mere coincidence, but his squad went 2-0 with him in the lineup and finished 3-5 in the final eight games without him.
