Boise State
took care of business in its season opener last night, scoring on their first
seven possessions en route to a 56-7 win over Weber
State in Bronco Stadium. With the win, the Broncos earned their 100th
win as a Division I-A school. Boise
State became the 11th
school since that time to notch 100 wins; the Broncos are 100-38.
Ohio State
has the best record since 1996, posting 108 wins against 29 losses. Florida
State is a close second with a
record of 107-31, followed by Michigan
at 104-32.
The Broncos head to Seattle
next weekend for a key tilt with Washington.
