The Western Athletic Conference Champion Boise State basketball team will face off against #3 seed Louisville in the first round of the NCAA National Basketball Tournament. CBS Sports made the announcement live this afternoon in front of excited Bronco fans at Taco Bell Arena.
Boise State drew the #4 seed in the East region, in which the #1 team in the country (North Carolina) is located. Ironically, the Broncos played Louisville in the 1994 NCAA Tournament. The Broncos and Cardinals will battle Friday in Birmingham, Alabama.
