Southridge HS K Trevor Harman
(Beaverton, OR) was in Boise for an official visit just a little over a week ago. "It went really good," he said. "I had a lot of fun and enjoyed visiting the campus."
The standout K left Boise with an offer to join the team as a preferred walk-on. Oregon State
has also Harman a preferred walk-on position. "It'll either be Boise State
or Oregon State," he said. "Those are my top two."
Harman (6'3, 195) is currently leaning towards taking the offer from Boise State. "Boise State has good coaches," he said. "They are all really nice. Coach Choate recruited me and we got along pretty well."
The Bronco special teams have become known for trick plays and that's a huge draw for Harman. "I'm a good fit for the system," he said. "A trick play can happen at anytime and I think that's pretty fun. Coach Choate has a ton of trick plays and that's cool," he added.
Harman knows all about kicking on the big stage as he and his teammates took home the 6A State Championship this past season. "I was 17/20 on FGs," he said. "I was 66/68 on extra points." Trevor's longest FG was a kick from 50 yards.
