Earlier this week, BroncoCountry showed that the Boise State football team does not lose. The Broncos rank #10 with just two losing seasons in 13 years. In this companion article, Boise State is fifth all-time for highest percentage of winning seasons.

Boise State ranks fifth all-time for the highest percentage of winning seasons in major college football, as the Broncos have enjoyed winning seasons 84.62% of the time (11 out of 13 years).  In its 41 years as a four-year football program, Boise State has produced 35 winning seasons--it's 85.36% of winning seasons would rank fourth.

Michigan, which was just 3-9 last year, has still produced 105 winning seasons in 119 years of playing football, for 88.24%.  Ohio State (87.63%) is second, with Alabama (86.67%) third.  Texas (85.05%) is fourth, followed by Boise State, Notre Dame (84.31%), Yale (81.48%), Oklahoma (80.00%), USC (79.31%) and Penn State (79.13%) rounding out the top ten.

The Western Athletic Conference is well represented with four teams in the top 50.  Fresno State is 35th,  Nevada comes in at #45 and Hawai'i is #48.  The Mountain West Conference has two teams in the top 50--Utah is #32 and Air Force is 49th.
