It isn't often that a newcomer so dominates fall practice that he stands out
as Coach Chris Petersen's Camper of the Day.
The news makes Bronco fans sit up and take notice. Redshirt freshman
Faraji Wright was so recognized after Boise State's Wednesday practice.
“He’s a young offensive tackle, who redshirted last year,” said Petersen.
“He’s coming on rapidly for us. He improved through spring ball and is
taking another step here in fall camp. If he keeps working and improving like he
has he is going to be a big factor for us this fall.”
Wright, a tackle from Vallejo, California., redshirted last season. He was
All-Alameda/Contra Costa Athletic League in his senior year and earned honorable
mention as a junior. Boise State desperately needs someone like Wright to
step up this fall on the offensive line.
