Great news for Bronco fans. A guy that needs to have a good fall has been named Coach Petersen's Camper of the Day. Winston Venable is today's recipient.

Winston Venable is today's Camper of the Day following practice for Boise State's fall camp. Head Coach Chris Petersen recognizes a player each day of practice.

“Winston is a guy that has been doing a great job ever since he got here and started practicing in the spring,” Petersen said. “He continues to work hard every day, and he hasn’t let up one bit since spring ball.”

Venable (6-0, 206), a transfer from Glendale Community College, is one of the favorites to earn a starting role in the Bronco secondary at the nickel position. He had 94 tackles as a sophomore at Glendale and 191 in two years.
