Broncos High on Henry

Marcus Henry ( spoke Monday to Marcus Henry, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound OL/DL prospect from Bellevue, Wash., and Henry let us know that two D1 schools have already offered him a scholarship, and he plans on setting up an unofficial visit soon with one of them. Who is it?

"I went to their camp and I did pretty well there," Henry said of Boise State's summer football camp. He also added that the Broncos have offered him a scholarship, as has Army.

BSU likes Henry as an interior offensive lineman. "I'd probably end up at guard or center," he said. Arizona State, Oregon and UCLA are three Pac-10 schools that have been keeping tabs on Henry throughout the recruiting process.

Boise State is Henry's number-one school right now. "I'm planning on visiting there with my Dad either the first week in August or the second week," he said. "When I went to their camp, I didn't get a chance to see anything but their facilities, which were great," he said. "I was impressed."

Henry, while not outright saying it, certainly hinted that if things go well with his second trip to Boise, a commitment could be forthcoming. "It's always been in my mind," he said when asked about the thought of making a verbal commitment before his senior season. "I'm just going to play it out, but there is a good chance that I will."
