| One of the top two-way players in the state of Kansas, Tharp was the state's second-leading rusher behind Bryce Brown with 1,800 yards. He also had over 100 tackles on defense. Following the season, he was named the League's Offensive Player of the Year and the League's Co-Defensive Player of the Year. |
